Are these real motorcycle trousers?

Yes. Our trousers are tested to EN 17092 or fitted with CE armour to EN 1621-1. The exact class is in the data sheet on every product page.

What does EN 17092 Class AA mean?

EN 17092 is the European standard for motorcycle clothing. Class AA is the second of three levels and covers normal road use.

Can I remove the armour?

The RoadVault and Redback carry removable CE armour at knee and hip — take it out before washing. The Sentinel protects with its 500D Cordura® reinforcement and has no separate armour.
